I’m here to help you build a more confident, stable dog, so that going out in public with your furry friend doesn’t feel like a hassle! I offer personalized, in-home training sessions designed to integrate smoothly into your everyday routine. Whether you're addressing behavioral challenges, building foundational skills, or simply looking to improve the relationship with your dog, my focus is on fostering clear communication and a positive, lasting bond between you and your pet!

FAQs
How do you train?
At J&J Dog Training we use a method called “balanced training” which is primarily positive reinforcement (play, treats, praise) to help teach the dog new behaviors. We use tools such as slip leads, prong collars, and e-collars which are important when teaching off-leash reliability or dealing with more advanced training.
Do you deal with reactivity?
We tackle cases that involve reactivity, leash-pulling, jumping on guests, being destructive in the home and much more.
Can you help my dog with socialization?
Yes! More and more people are wanting their dog to go with them on their next adventure. This is where we facilitate opportunities for exposure with your dog which is key in a calm, stable companion to make that a reality.
Do you train puppies?
Absolutely! Starting your training journey as soon as possible is going to help prevent any unwanted behaviors in the future. Our in-home private sessions is a great choice when dealing with puppy training.
